The next day, the campers did archery. PING! went the

bowstrings. WHOOSH! went the arrows. THUNK!

meant an arrow actually hit the target!

The Blue team argued and yelled when anyone missed. Mr.

Clark told them to sit down and cool off.

“This has been the best day so far!” Kim said to her friends.

“And I think we earned our teamwork points.”

Just then, the children heard Mrs. Zazu on the loudspeaker.

“Campers, don’t forget the sleepover on Thursday!”

Herbie felt his tummy flip-flop. “Who could forget?”

he whispered softly.

The day ended with the camp cheer:

WE SAY YO,

WE SAY YAY.

ALL YOU CAMPERS COME THIS WAY!

RIGHT FOOT DOWN,

LEFT FOOT STAMP.

WE’RE ALL A TEAM AT LOTSALUCK CAMP!
